11 NOV 2025

With the successful conclusion of the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE), Richemont has gracefully brought its sixth consecutive appearance at the event to a refined close. This year, under the theme “Stories about Beauty, Elegance, and Timeless Style”, Richemont and seven of its Maisons unveiled a thoughtfully curated exhibition space that paid heartfelt tribute to enduring beauty. Alaïa, Cartier, dunhill, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Montblanc, Vacheron Constantin and Van Cleef & Arpels showed their distinctive charm and enduring value through the ages. Visitors were invited to immerse themselves in the signature creations of the Maisons in the Richemont pavilion, experiencing firsthand each Maison’s unique interpretation of timeless style and beauty - together discovering the essence of elegance.

The Alaïa collection began with thoughts of history, of geography, of sculpture and of women. Cartier celebrated beauty and timeless style through its boundless creativity and commitments to savoir-faire with the Maison’s iconic Panthère. dunhill, always defined contemporary masculine elegance with enduring craftsmanship, presented over 130 years of British heritage and luxury under the theme "New Codes of British Style". Jaeger-LeCoultre celebrated the origins of the Reverso, where the Reverso Polo Club pays tribute to the world of polo that inspired its creation and captures the spirit of its time. Montblanc continued to inspire people to put pen to paper, explore their journeys, and reconnect with the self with the new “Let’s Write” brand campaign and artistic masterpieces rooted in cultural narratives and exceptional craftsmanship. Richemont and Montblanc jointly hosted a sharing session themed “Craftsmanship: An Eternal Journey”, inviting the audience to explore the transmission of craftsmanship as well as the resonance of heritage and present day. Vacheron Constantin continued on its quest for excellence, marked by the founding of the Maison in Geneva in 1755. Guided by its cherished inspirations, Van Cleef & Arpels continued to illustrate its Poetry of Time vision, where mechanical expertise, precious materials, and métiers d'art come together to enliven each dial with an enchanting story.

This year’s pavilion also featured the exclusive 8th CIIE New Product Release Platform, which highlights the Maisons' dedication to blending heritage and innovation.

Debuting at CIIE for the China market, the Montblanc High Artistry A Journey through Château de Versailles collection marks a new chapter for the High Artistry collection, transforming writing instruments into objets d'art. Drawing on the rich history, iconic artistry, and baroque architecture of the Palace of Versailles, the five masterpieces represent the pinnacle of craftsmanship and creativity, showcasing intricate details, inspired design, and the rare métiers d’art and mastery of Montblanc artisans. Meanwhile, Vacheron Constantin continued to pay tribute to the Chinese culture through the Métiers d'Art The Legend of the Chinese Zodiac collection, introducing two 25-piece limited editions dedicated to the Year of the Horse. Set in a 40mm case, the complex and technically sophisticated Calibre 2460 G4 is placed at the service of aesthetics, giving free rein to the artistry of the Maison’s métiers d’art specialists. In parallel, Van Cleef & Arpels presented the Lady Arpels Bal des Amoureux Automate Watch, depicting a 19th century charming guinguette through exquisitely refined grisaille enamel for the young couple’s rendezvous. At noon and midnight, the couple gets closer to each other, dancing in perfect harmony – a fleeting romance captured in motion.

"Cultural and artistic heritage has always been central to Richemont. The ‘Stories about Beauty, Elegance, and Timeless Style’ pavilion we presented at this year’s CIIE reflects this commitment.” stated Jenny Gu, CEO of Richemont China. “We are proud to stand alongside our Maisons in preserving the spirit of craftsmanship and dedicating ourselves to safeguarding and promoting both the heritage and development of our Maisons’ culture."
