The Panerai brand history

Since 1860 Giovanni Panerai opened his watchmaker’s shop on Ponte alle Grazie in Florence, as the city’s first watchmaking school. For many decades, Panerai supplied the Royal Italian Navy with precision instruments to meet the most rigorous military standards. Today, the very essence of Panerai remains the creation of innovations and remarkable instruments at Panerai Manufacture in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.

  • Submersible GMT PAM01495: a skeletonized tool watch designed as a complete diving instrument. Featuring a unidirectional rotating bezel for precise control of immersion times, the P.4001/S calibre integrates a patented polarized date that remains visible when needed, preserving full readability of the movement. Housed in a Titanium DMLS case and water-resistant to 500 meters, every element is built for performance under water and beyond.

  • Featuring Panerai's iconic design, the Luminor 8 Giorni PAM01733 comes in a robust 44mm case with a distinctive Brunito finish.

This hand-finished steel case is crafted to evoke the worn edges and darkened tones of vintage military instruments.

An impressive 8-day power reserve, a nod to the mid-1950s Angelus Calibre SF 240 and its mission-critical extended autonomy, powers the watch.

The timepiece will be offered for early access and previewed to the Italian Market during the Salone del Mobile week, until April 26 at the Panerai pop-up at Milan Rho Fiera and at Casa Panerai in Via Montenapoleone, Milan.
