Alaïa’s quest for beauty is made possible by the unique savoir-faire of the ateliers. The Maison’s exclusive knitting technique allows to underline the body, as a second skin. Leather is a core material for ready to wear creations and iconic accessories.

Denim is transformed into a noble art and poplin draws refined forms. Alaïa’s tailoring highlights the silhouette’s purity. Embellishments, such as the iconic vienne pattern, studs and eyelets, are also part of Alaïa’s signature.

At Homo Faber 2024, Alaïa celebrates craftsmanship through knitwear, presenting 30 dresses in the ex-Piscina Gandini. This spectacular scenography held in a monumental stage sublimates the unique expertise and timeless designs of the House. These dresses embody Alaïa’s devotion to femininity.

The new Alaïa Summer Fall 24 campaign is a story of intimacy.
Four girls from the Maison’s circle of friends were chosen by @Pieter_Mulier to star in it.
 
They were photographed by @TyroneLebon in four Parisian hotel rooms. Captured in their rawness and reality, they are not retouched, deliberately so, revealing them as they dress for and by themselves, almost as if preparing for a personal rendezvous.
 
It’s a moment of discovery, where the intimacy between the women and the clothes is palpable. Because this is what Alaïa is about: an encounter between the garment and the body. And at the core of Alaïa is, always, the idea of intimacy.
