Amblard Lycee

Lycée Professionnel Amblard

Every year, for over 30 years, 160 apprentices have trained at the Lycée Amblard for the CAP (Certificate of Professional Aptitude) Bijouterie in jewellery or setting, the Brevet des Métiers d’Art Bijouterie (Diploma in Arts & Crafts) in jewellery or the DNMADe (National Diploma in Design) for Objects, Jewellery, Materials and Applied Designs. Here, students, apprentices, and adults in continuing education come together to learn from each other.

Exigence and excellence are at the heart of the Lycée’s course. As a result, students have enjoyed success at the national level of Worldskills competitions and been awarded gold medals at the Best Apprentice of France competition, while former students have been recognised as Best Craftsmen of France. Traditional craftsmanship remains at the core of the institution’s teaching. However, new technologies have their place as well, with the aim of training high-performance craftsmen.

The partnership with Van Cleef & Arpels aims to further enhance the excellence of the jewellery-making training programs through the technological expertise of their Ateliers, while also challenging students with high-tech and quality pedagogical projects.
