Bringing together more than 180 skills under one roof, the Manufacture known as the Watchmaker of Watchmakers™ expressed its relentlessly inventive spirit through the creation of more than 1,400 different calibres and the award of more than 430 patents.

Masters of complications

Jaeger-LeCoultre is home to a proud tradition of mechanical watchmaking, expressed through creations highlighting the wonders of three main luxury watch complications. Firstly Sound, through the creation of a minute repeater earning the Maison the title of The Sound Maker.

Secondly Precision, with a long-standing history of inventions leading to the creation of the Gyrotourbillon and the Heliotourbillon. And finally, Celestial, with the development of some of the most sophisticated celestial information ever displayed on a Jaeger-LeCoultre watch.

Milan Design Week 2026 The Perpetual Timekeeper

During Milan Design Week 2026, the public discovered ‘The Perpetual Timekeeper’, an immersive exhibition that explored the continuous dialogue that exists between design and daily life, through timekeeping objects that measure life’s tempo minute by minute, day after day. The exhibition traced the evolving style of timekeeping, showcasing the extraordinary one-of-a-kind Atmos clock, marking the unveiling of five exceptional new timepieces, and presenting a curated selection of heritage watchmaking objects.

Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026 The Valley of Inventions

Jaeger-LeCoultre pays tribute to its home in the Vallée de Joux - birthplace of the inventive spirit that continues to drive the Maison to this day. An immersive booth draws visitors into the ambience of the valley and the fascinating story of inventions that continue to inspire bold ideas to take watchmaking into the future.

From aesthetic reinterpretations of existing models to entirely new calibres, the timepieces presented this year express the Maison’s pursuit of precision.

In the heart of Shanghai this September, Jaeger-LeCoultre invited the public to discover the myriad ways in which La Grande Maison’s designers, watchmakers, and Métiers Rares™ artisans have expressed the dream of shaping time. Visitors explored the story of ‘The Dream Shaper’ through four major themes: The Age of Tradition – Ornamented Watches, The Age of Freedom – Miniaturised Watches, The Age of Emancipation – Shaped Watches, The Age of Leadership – Complication Watches.
