  • Montblanc celebrates this pioneer of French art with the Masters of Art Homage to Pierre-Auguste Renoir collection, drawing inspiration from his vibrant colors, spontaneous brushstrokes and sun-drenched paintings.

The Masters of Art Homage to Pierre-Auguste Renoir Limited Edition 92 bears his self-portrait on its handcrafted solid Au 750 gold nib. The Masters of Art Homage to Pierre-Auguste Renoir Limited Edition 888 recalls his beginnings as a porcelain painter with a porcelain-like lacquered cap and a gold frame encircling a flower motif, a reproduction of one of the few remaining examples of his porcelain paintings.

  • Each edition in the Masters of Art Homage to Pierre-Auguste Renoir Collection captures a distinct moment in the French Impressionist painter’s career, offering a journey through the evolution of his artistic style.

The pieces in this collection are shaped after traditional thick wooden pencils, featuring an embossed metal tip reminiscent of the tools Renoir would have used. The cone is adorned with a soft, solid Ag 925 sterling silver or Au 995 gold tip, providing the means to create silverpoint sketches of one’s own. In addition, the clip resembles two brushes—one for fine details, the other for sweeping, expressive strokes—honoring the techniques that defined his masterpieces.
