Invented in 1947, the iconic Mosaico features strips of precious lamb nappa delicately handwoven by skilled artisans. Each Mosaico inner tag is signed by the artisan who crafted it.

Evoluzione is an exclusive calfskin treated to make it extremely sturdy and strong. A fusion of technology and expertise, of form and function, its distinctive texture has become a house signature that stands the test of time.

The Mosaico craft: the Maison's hallmark invented in 1947. Strips of precious lamb nappa are handwoven by artisans creating a hypnotic effect somewhere between Byzantine mosaics and Japanese origami.

At Homo Faber 2026, Serapian unveils the Ice Trunk, an extraordinary trunk dedicated to holding spirits and glassware, crafted in multiple hues of white Mestieri d’Arte Mosaico, the leather weaving craft developed by the Maison in 1947.

A creation that sums up the Maison’s dedication to art, design and high craftsmanship, the Ice Trunk showcases Serapian’s material expertise and ability to weave techniques and concepts through innovative ideas. Painstakingly crafted to resemble an oversized frozen cube, its composition of materials and techniques come together to mimic the translucent, dynamic surface of a piece of ice. Once again Serapian collaborated with Bisazza, with light palladium tesserae animating the trunk’s surface.

The Ice Trunk is a fitting showcase of Serapian’s artisanal savoir faire and a demonstration of its dedication to the finest Mestieri d’Arte, and its desire to always push the limits of high craftsmanship, blending traditional crafts with innovation.
