  • Matisse’s devotion to decorative composition, vibrant color, and stylised form, masterfully depicted in “Purple Robe and Anemones,” is echoed in the Masters of Art Homage to Henri Matisse Limited Edition 8.

The striped purple robe and lush anemone blooms are rendered on the cap and barrel in enamel. Hand-finished 3D laser engravings on the lower barrel and cone echo the arabesque ornaments of the flower table. Warm cognac-colored diamonds encircle the cap and barrel, adding a final touch.

  • Matisse’s artistic expression aimed to render the essential. This pursuit of essence is embodied in the design details of the Masters of Art Homage to Henri Matisse Limited Edition 8.

A rhythmic arrangement of leaf-like shapes, an unmistakable hallmark of the artist’s visual language, appears on the forepart. The solid Au 750 gold nib pays tribute to his drawing “Large Face (Mask)”, created with swift, confident strokes on paper.

  • The Masters of Art Homage to Henri Matisse Limited Edition 161 draws inspiration from the artist’s journey to Tahiti, captured in his famous painting “Window in Tahiti.” A detail from this composition is skillfully recreated on the Ag 925 sterling silver cap.

Another edition celebrates one of Matisse’s most powerful compositions, “The Dance II.” The Masters of Art Homage to Henri Matisse Limited Edition 96 captures the painting’s movement and energy through blue and turquoise lacquer, contrasted with bronze dancers.
