Engineered for the Next Space Age

At the dawn of the age of commercial space exploration, IWC Schaffhausen extends its Pilot’s Watches legacy beyond the sky – and into space. The Pilot’s Venturer Vertical Drive marks the first tool watch engineered from the ground up for human spaceflight. From the rotating bezel system replacing the crown to the 24-hour mission time display, every detail has been optimised for timekeeping in orbit. The watch has received official spaceflight qualification from the Maison’s partner, Vast, the company developing next-generation space stations.

  • Meet the “Engineer of Dreams.”

Driven by poetry, curiosity and a deeply human spirit, she reminds us that engineering is not only about precision, but also about imagination. It is no surprise that the universe of The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry feels like home to her.
