We work with a number of partner organisations which help us improve our social, economic and environmental performance. These include:

The Council for Responsible Jewellery Practices, whose members are committed to promoting responsible business practices in a transparent and accountable manner throughout the gold and diamond industry from mine to retail. Cartier was a founder member of the CRJP. Van Cleef & Arpels and Piaget are also CRJP members. Richemont has been recognised as a “Associate of the Council”.

Jewelers of America (JA) is the trade association for retail jewellers in the United States. Through its Ethical Initiatives Committee, JA is a leader in promoting debate on corporate responsibility within the industry. Cartier is a Board member of JA and a member of its Ethical Initiatives Committee.

The French Union of Jewellery, Silverware, Stones and Pearls, which is intimately involved in various ethical issues and which promotes the highly skilled savoir-faire of jewellery manufacturing in France. Van Cleef & Arpels serves as a Board member.

The Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry (FH), a private, professional, and non-profit association, currently bringing together more than 500 members representing more than 90% of all Swiss watch manufacturers.
