Developing design talentThe Creative Academy![]() The activity of Creative Academy, the postgraduate school created in Milan in 2004 by the Group, continued this year with the fifth programme for students seeking to graduate with its Master of Arts in Design. Twenty successful students from all over the world have been admitted into each course over the years. The Academy’s course has openings for those who have already completed a course of studies in disciplines related to design. The Master of Arts in Design seeks to give young designers specialised training in applied arts, in particular in the fields of jewellery, watchmaking and accessories. The degree offers seven months of studies in Milan, involving contributions from CEOs of Maisons and other experts, as well as three months of internship across the Group’s businesses. A Masters Degree is awarded upon completion of the programme. The school has close strategic ties with Poli.Design, a venture of the Politecnico di Milano, which participates actively in the planning of the courses, and with the SDA School of Management of the Bocconi University in Milan, one of the major international management institutions. Having successfully completed their Masters course, the majority of the alumni now work for Maisons, while others work as freelancers or as employees in other branches of the luxury world. Managing creativity During the year we also put in place training for our senior management dedicated to fostering creativity in the workplace and effective management of creative people. Since 2006, four bespoke courses have been developed specifically for our management population and are held at the Creative Academy in Milan. Applicable to Managers from all functions and Maisons the courses aim to enhance the creative and innovative mindset.
