Consulting and communicating with our employees

The average consultation of the HR Intranet since the beginning of the 2008 calendar year has been over 10 000 visits a month. Through this channel we have communicated HR business developments from across the group as well as key policies on Human Resource Management and employee development. This ranges from learning and development, business behaviours to enhance employee performance, yalues and competencies as well as a window to internal job opportunities.

Individual Maisons have also undertaken engagement activities with their staff. Nine of our Maisons formally communicated the CSR guidelines to the majority of their employees. Two Maisons have commitments in place to communicate the guidelines during 2008/09.

We have a European Works Council for our European employees, with appointed staff representatives.
